Krumm has had extensive football experience and is also a class of 1987 Alumni and once donned the green and white to play for the Spartans at MSU. His coming leadership in the program is something Ira Childress says he and the rest of the Athletic Department look forward to.

Krumm replaces Jack Wallace, who had coached the team since 2012. Wallace retired in December.
