While everyone has their own individual tastes in fan-fiction, there are some masterpieces that attract thousands of readers. There are a few new stories that are truly moving and original. The best part is that there is no limits when it comes to fanfiction genres, the issue is finding stories that are just as well written as the original.

After perusing each of popular fandoms, I decided upon a couple that especially stood out to me. While it does take some background knowledge to fully enjoy these, they are interesting and emotional stories that top my list.

  1. Harry Potter and the Nightmares of Futures Past by S’TarKan
